About us

NOR-REG Systems AS is an engineering company that develops and manufactures systems in the highly specialized area of packaging automation. The company was founded in 1969 and is today owned by KK Sunde Holding.

NOR-REG is based near Hønefoss in Norway and employs around 85 people, including our international sales and service personnel. We have regional offices located in Sweden, Germany and France.

Our core expertise is in the design, manufacture and implementation of end-of-line packaging solutions.  While a great number of our projects were specifically designed for their respective application, we have also developed a number of “off-the-shelve” ’technologies with potential for immediate implementation in your production environment. We also have some unique solutions and technologies for the automatic case packing of flexible bags. Furthermore, we own earlier patents developed by Odenthal and Ostma.

We have, to-date, delivered more than 3.500 projects worldwide with a geographical emphasis on Europe, the USA and the Middle East. These projects required a high level of innovation and specific expertise to meet or exceed our customers’ needs and expectations. Through a close collaboration with the customer’s marketing and technical departments and supported by precise product and packaging specifications defining the required functionalities (e.g. product protection, shelf display, manufacturing cost, etc.) our team of experts will design and build the equipment to achieve your objectives.

Documentation and Safety requirements

We manufacture equipment that fully complies with CE safety regulations.

Every machine is supplied with a complete set of documentation, including Operator Manual, Spare Parts list, electrical drawings and software programme.

Testing

The equipment is subjected to rigorous testing before leaving our premises (Factory Acceptance Tests) against the specified KPIs and listed functionalities.

The same rigorous testing is again applied at the customer’s premises after installation and commissioning (Site Acceptance Testing).

Service

We are fortunate to have a long-serving and therefore experienced team to service our customers, qualified to handle mechanical, electrical and software-based calls.

Together with the NOR-REG’s Project Manager who followed your project step-by-step, our service engineers perform the equipment commissioning followed by the SATs.

Additional services include, regular maintenance (contract, preventative) as well as equipment rebuilding/upgrade on your site.

Sales

Our Sales department in Norway and throughout our regional offices deals and negotiates directly with our customers. It also provides support for our agents and distributors worldwide.
